Operations and Communications Coordinator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable Operations and Communications Coordinator to join our team. This role is integral to the smooth functioning of our operations and communications efforts, providing critical support to our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, communications, and administrative functions, with a passion for philanthropy and community building.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial and Administrative Support:
    • Assist the Director of Accounting and Administration with accounts receivable/payable (AR/AP), bank reconciliations, and ad hoc reporting.
    • Manage payroll and related functions.
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial processes and reporting.
  2. Event Coordination:
    • Assist with planning and coordinating logistics for events, including giving circle meetings, community events, and seminars.
    • Manage event timelines, vendor relationships, and participant communications.
  3. Communications Support:
    • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Engagement to create and distribute communications materials, including social media content, website updates, print materials, and mailings.
    • Maintain and update distribution lists for targeted communications.
  4. Database Management and Reporting:
    • Oversee database management, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
    • Generate reports to support decision-making and donor engagement efforts.
  5. Meeting and Project Support:
    • Schedule and coordinate meetings, including logistics, agendas, and follow-up actions.
    • Provide project management support for cross-functional initiatives.
  6. Customer Service and Donor Relations:
    • Interact professionally and warmly with donors, community leaders, and stakeholders.
    • Provide high-level customer service to support donor engagement and satisfaction.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience in finance, communications, or administrative roles.
  • Experience with AR/AP functions and office operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database products (experience with C-Suite products is a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail.

Compensation:

Salary: $60,000-$65,000 (Full-time)
