GIVING CIRCLES
collaborative grantmaking
what is a giving circle?
A giving circle is a type of group philanthropy where members pool their dollars to create a larger impact in their community. Together, the group determines where to grant the funds they have raised. Through this method, participants learn about the grantmaking process and are exposed to more nonprofits in their community, making them well-rounded philanthropists equipped to create positive change.
Horizon Community Funds offers two unique giving circles: The 410 and Give Where You Live NKY. Discover which group aligns best with your philanthropic goals.
