Bridging the Gap and Expanding Compassionate Care in Northern Kentucky
For more than twenty-three years, Faith Community Pharmacy has been a lifeline for Northern Kentuckians who cannot afford the medications they need to live healthy, productive lives. Since opening in 2002, we have filled over 650,000 prescriptions and served more than 10,800 patients, ensuring no one in our community is forced to go without life-saving medications. These efforts have reduced unnecessary emergency room visits, improved health outcomes, and strengthened the wellbeing of our region.
Yet the need continues to grow. Today, 5.7% of Northern Kentucky residents (18,000 to 25,000 individuals) are uninsured. By 2027, that number is expected to rise to nearly 10% of the population. Individuals and families without coverage face impossible choices: delaying care, skipping critical medications, relying on crowded emergency rooms for basic needs, or going without care altogether.
To meet this growing crisis, Faith Community Pharmacy is expanding its mission with the launch of the Faith Community Clinic, scheduled to open in March 2026 in the same building as the pharmacy. As the first full-time free clinic in the region, we will integrate our proven pharmacy services with direct medical care, ensuring treatment and medications are delivered under one roof. This model will transform access to healthcare for thousands of neighbors in need.
The Clinic will provide primary care, urgent care, preventive services, laboratory testing, and expanded access to acute care pharmaceuticals. In partnership with the UK College of Medicine Northern Kentucky, we will bring together physicians, students, and community volunteers to deliver high-quality, compassionate, and cost-free care.
The Faith Community Clinic represents the next chapter in our long-standing mission—extending our reach from medications to comprehensive medical services and living out our commitment to provide Quality, Compassionate Care for All.
But we cannot do this work alone. The success of this vision depends on the support of providers, partners, donors, and community members who share our belief that healthcare is a human right. We invite you to join us by contributing to our Bridging the Gap: Ensuring Healthcare for All Capital Campaign. Together, we will ensure that every Northern Kentuckian—regardless of income or insurance status—has access to the care they deserve.
