This year’s key initiatives: Early Childhood Literacy/Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library The Imagination Library sends a free book to every child in Boone County, ages birth to 5 years, to help support kindergarten readiness. Boone County Borderlands Archive & History Center at BCPL The nationally recognized Archive & History Center researches a wide variety of regional history topics. Capital Projects Capital projects planned for the next 20 years are aimed to meet the needs of the community for years to come. General In addition to the above, general donations can be used for programs, collections, summer reading, or other areas when needs are identified.
